12 Aug Supporting data transformation in Local Government
Trusted and secure information is critical to the delivery of council services
Having access to trusted data and information is becoming increasingly important to local governments driving the effective delivery of services and enabling easier access to the services that residents and customers are looking for.
Historically local governments have grown their technology capabilities incrementally focussed on specific needs and services rather designing for a data-driven, digitally-enabled future. Consequently, data and information is often fragmented and duplicated across the organisation.
At CharterX and InfoCentric our focus is on helping organisations chart a way forward to thrive in this new economy. As part of this we have worked with local governments to help them quickly understand areas where fragmented data might inhibit their council strategies and provide recommendations for moving forward.
